A: 6" – 2400 RPM; 8" - 1800 RPM.
Q: What is the cause of a Rayspan Drum not holding the band in place?
A: This could be caused by
- The RPM being too low, 6" should be at 2400 RPM, 8" should be at 1800 RPM.
- The drum could be worn out, however these drums last a very long time.
- Some bands, due to size, might require adding a few drops of 3M feathering drill cement to hold in place, yet still be able to be removed.
